What Happens During a Session

A session is usually carried out with the recipient lying down or sitting in a comfortable and peaceful environment. There is no need to remove any clothing as Reiki energy passes easily though all materials, including plaster casts. The practitioner places their hands on or near the head and body. The recipient automatically draws in only as much energy as is needed using it in whatever way is most appropriate at the time.

I offer Reiki courses for small groups or individuals near Peterborough. Reiki is the gentle yet powerful healing energy which can promote the natural 'self healing' of the body, mind and spirit.

The ability to channel reiki is gained by attunement.

Reiki level 1 courses take place over two days and cover: the history and origins of Reiki, the five Reiki principles and practical Reiki treatment of yourself and family and friends.. During the course four attunements are given.
Reiki level 2 courses (also 2 days) cover the following; Reiki symbols, distance healing, Reiki as a spiritual path, and professional practice.
